Back to Boulder for college!

It's been a while since I've written on here! I moved back here to Boulder on August 16th for school. So far I have managed to cook for myself and eat healthily like I wanted to and I have spent way too much money on books, etc. I recently picked up a job at Safeway and I will start training on Monday the 27th (also the day school starts). I had to go buy new black pants and shoes for work today...that put another huge dent in my bank account. I been talking to a few people for dating and I have been on a few dates so far. I saw Roy last Sunday and decided that he was extremely self-centered and needed a reality check so I have now decided to not answer any of his texts OR phone calls. Anyway, that's enough about my personal personal life. I miss my family quite a bit and I really want to go on the deer hunt this year...it's been 3 years since I've been able to hunt!!! I won't get to go because of school once more. I feel like my blog is worthless with all of things that I am writing - nothing interesting. I guess it's just kind of my journal. Anywho, I'll write again soon! Ciao

The Sabbath and the Olympics

Today was Brig Steele's (my cousin Abbi's current boyfriend whom I have gotten to know pretty well this summer) mission farewell. My mom and grandma came up on Friday night to spend some time with me and also go to this farewell so that was fun. They also came up to help me sort of clean my apartment since I have to be moved out of it by Tuesday. We basically went shopping and I showed my family my working place yesterday. They liked it a lot and my mom got really excited about the possibility that I can make a chandelier for her at home! She really like amber and clear crystal together. Today, we also went to my apartment directly after the farewell to drop some stuff off and take some stuff home. My mom and grandma then left. We have also been watching the London Summer Olympics...yes indeed! Let's just say the men's soccer and swimming are fun to watch! One day soon I will be able to elaborate more on how I really feel during the day...haha. Anywho...we mainly went to the Steeles' house for some food and then came back and watched the Olympics for a while before going to bed. Yay.

Today - July 26, 2012

So, you wanna know how my day was? Well, I pretty much woke up, got in the shower, got dressed and shaved and looking nice, then went to work. Work was ok today...all I did was strand beads, pin rosettes, and cut ballchain. As I was cutting ballchain I tried to find an easier way to measure it. After a few unsuccessful designs, my boss got frustrated with me and told me to do it the same way she did it (which made me upset because I felt like a child) so I ended up doing it her way. Ugh...oh well! After work I went back to my cousins' house. My little cousin, Lucy, and I went on a "run" while Madi and Abbi were gone. The "run" was more a walk than an actual run! Emma is in Provo, Utah for a soccer camp at BYU (coming home tonight).
At approximately 10:07 PM tonight, my "ex" Facebooked me after exactly two weeks. The story of Roy Roger Gonzalez and I is a VERY long one so I will spare you that and just tell you that it pissed me off really really bad!!! Anyways, this is a blog, not a diary...
I have a lot on my mind right now. One of the biggest things that has been on my mind is me being gay and being a member of the LDS Church. I realize I just wrote a post on the gay issue, but this is more personal than that. Since it is late I will leave the post about this for another time. My cousin and I just went to get a double cheeseburger from McDonald's...so fun!
Goodnight!

Hey everyone! I'm Zack! This is my first blog! I have decided that this will be the fulfillment of the commandment to have a journal also since I will be deleting my Facebook when school starts in August! Anyway, here's me:

I currently work at Chandi, LLC where I assist in the making of very expensive chandeliers. Chandi has made chandeliers for Martina McBride and J-Lo! I am originally from Kamas, Utah but my family moved to Malad, Idaho in 2005. I began school at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009 and now I'll be going back for my 4th year in August! I have been living in Boise since May 21st just working for Chandi as a supposed intern (I now call it an assistant because I am not really doing anything related to my major). That's just a tidbit of information on me, but I'll be writing more soon!
